Tragedy struck the town of Forest Hill in Texas, when a pastor was killed last Monday after a car crashed into their church building. Reports claim that the collision itself wasn’t what took his life, but after the man crashed into his church wall, he got out of the car and began to chase the pastor and eventually caught up and beat him to death with an electric guitar in the building. Reverend Danny Kirk Sr. died at the scene, and the suspect, who remains unidentified, was Tasered by police at the scene and died shortly after as well.
Kirk was not the only one injured by this man’s actions, the churches janitor also went to the aid of the pastor and received injuries as well, he is currently in the hospital and his condition is still unknown. The police came to the scene because the church secretary saw the incident and she called the authorities immediately, when they arrived the suspect was giving Kirk his final fatal blows. His community truly misses him, and states that he had a large impact in their lives.
Car accidents come in all different forms, and in this case it was a man who crashed his car and then proceeded to beat his victim to death afterwards. No person deserves this kind of treatment, and no family should have to hear they have lost their loved one in this way either.
